Drive lessons are 2 hours each lesson and we cover all aspects of driving. The 6-hour package costs $330.00. The 10-hour package currently costs $600.00.

A 6-hour package would include, but is not limited to the following:
1st Hour
10-15 mins.: Adjust seat, apply seat belt, adjust mirrors, lock doors, complete orientation of all controls on dashboard, instructions on starting an automobile and use of shift lever and directional signals. Left and right turn signs must be instructed. Stress 3 and 9 o'clock hand positions.
45 mins.: Entering and leaving traffic, instructions on proper hand positions, interpreting oral signs, use of proper vision habits coordinated with proper use of brake and accelerator. Instruct at least 3 times u-turns, and 3-point turns.
2nd hour
A review of the first hour of training. Training on secondary roads of curves and left and right turns are introduced in this lesson. Observations of signs, proper use of accelerator and brakes should be apparent. Instruct pull-in parking at least 4 times.
3rd hour
Steering, cornering, introduction into heavy traffic, instructions of procedures of handling stop signs and control signals. Various questions dealing with motor vehicle laws will also be asked during these lessons. Pull-in and back-in parking will also be given.
4th hour
Intersection driving, corning in traffic, left and rights turns, practice of emergency procedures. Review of 3-point turn and back-in parking. Instruct back-in, parallel parking at least 5 times and instruct lane change procedures.
5th hour
Review of previous four lessons. Introduction into heavy traffic, lane strategies, use of horn, lights and emergency lights, all forms of parking will be reviewed. Stress back-in parking and enter and exit of highway. Review testing area near DMV.
6th hour
Parallel/angle/back-in parking and review of 3-point turns. Remainder of lesson is optional to the instructor. May review areas of weakness or instruct the student on highway driving. Review motor vehicle insurance and effects of alcohol on an operator of a vehicle. Fill in license applications and review all paperwork and fees of DMV.
